Job Description: Marketing Manager

 

Exciting and fast growing digital advertising firm is looking for a driven, high performing individual who is passionate about marketing and ready to work hard and learn a lot as they go.  Do you love providing prospects and customers with information and tools they value?  Can you cut through the clutter and get the attention of savvy professionals?  Do you tweet, share, and post to social media in your sleep? Do you know what it takes to grow an online community?  Do you have a knack for getting the right emails into the right inboxes, at the right times?  Can you conduct message testing, competitive research, and position our products/services in a way that effectively caters to our buyer personas?

You’ll have the opportunity to develop content such as whitepapers, industry spotlights, social media posts, emails, direct mail pieces, blogs posts, etc. from scratch to help us convert visitors into leads – and leads into customers!  You will oversee all segments of the marketing department to ensure consistency of communication, contribute to revenue targets, and push forward the company’s marketing goals.

Stuff you need to already have:

  • BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or similar concentrations.
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing or sales.

 

What you’ll be a rock star at doing:

  • Working with the sales team to achieve sales and marketing alignment.
  • Monitoring, measuring, and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Researching market segments, key customer industries, buyer personas, and customer needs.
  • Managing multi-channel campaigns from start to finish, including planning, testing, evaluating, and reporting.
  • Managing all social media, email, and other marketing platforms for the business.
  • Developing and optimizing lead nurturing campaigns.
  • Understanding and creating content that aligns with our buyer personas’ interests and needs, such as market insights, product information, marketing collateral, and other content.
  • Segmenting contact lists and personalizing emails, direct mail, and other media based on recipient interests and needs.
  • Providing detailed information, training, and product marketing collateral to sales reps and other departments about our products/services.
